Living up to the company's spirit of “originality and ingenuity,” cherished since its establishment in 1928, Sanyo Paper is committed to producing new types of recycled charcoal paper in line with the times, helping to leave a beautiful Earth for our children’s future.
The recycled charcoal paper is made by carbonising by-products produced and thrown out as industrial wastes, such as Kishu umeboshi (picked plum) and coffee grounds by pressing the resulting charcoal with 100% recycled pulp using Sanyo Paper’s original technologies.
Sanyo Paper’s goal is to produce new types of recycled paper which contribute to the realisation of a recycling society and provide solutions for global environment problems.
