Tanno Masakage

After graduating from Akita Municipal Junior college of Arts and Crafts, Tanno Masakage started working as a craftsman at his dad's studio ''Crafts and Design Tanno.'' He also launched his own studio ''TANNO Masakage Mokko Design Works.''

Since 2006, Masakage became a member of ''mickle'', which was formed by a young artists group in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. The group has participated in several exhibitions all over Japan.

Tanno Masakage is also won top prize for his One push case series at the Takaoka Crafts Competition in 2010.
