Born in Singapore, Shian Wei graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design. He began his career in 2004 as an industrial designer at Orcadesign Consultants, where he designed numerous products including award-winning business printers and slow-feed dog bowls. Shian Wei later joined the Design Incubation Centre where he led design projects on eco-race cars and the future of mobility.
Shian Wei currently resides in the suburbs of Tokyo pursuing a Masters in Media Design at Keio University.
