Born in 1974 in Hiroshima, Japan. Home ware designer, Oji, graduated from Hiroshima Institute of Technology in Environmental Design/ Architecture. He established 'msg.' in 1999 after working for different architectural and graphic design firms. He eventually moved to Tokyo and renamed the company, 'Oji & Design'.
Oji designs mainly living products; in creating them, he seeks design solutions that connect all manner of things in a gentle and pleasant way. Apart from designing the product itself, he also pays attention to the graphics, packaging and the overall process of how the product is born. Over the years, several of his products have won various design awards in Japan.
