Born in 1961 in Japan, Shuji graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts. After working at Suzuki Motor Corporation, he established the design studio, River Design Field Inc., in 1992.
His regular work consists of industrial and GUI design for products such as information systems, industrial equipment, and medical equipment. Occasionally, he is able to find the time to develop his own products, like the Perpetual Calendar.
It is Shuji's wish that when people use his product, this product would enable them have positive and happy experiences in their daily lives.
