KATAMAKU is a series of upcycled products that utilise the unused parts of industrial membrane for constructing stadiums, domes and tents. Due to the nature of the material, it is difficult to be reused for other purposes, hence most will be thrown away or be buried.
A range of stationery inspired by Japanese kimono and origami was created to reflect the unique texture of this material. The firm material is durable, waterproof, stain and heat-resistant; it is an ideal protector for cards, paper and pens etc.
This open pass case is made of a sheet of membrane used for stadium roof, and it can store as well as protect a variety of cards to be carried around with you.
