Graeme McNee was born in South Africa, grew up in Scotland and now lives in Japan. He makes zines, comics and sometimes illustrates for other people. Recent clients include Muji, Magazine House, BBC Scotland and the Edinburgh International Festival.

Most of Graeme's work is in blue, white and black and features stories set in the small port town of Shioya, a sleepy place just twenty minutes west of Kobe where he currently lives. All his zines are handmade, and printed by risograph on traditional Japanese paper. They usually come in editions of 100.
