D[diː] was born in 1977 in Hokkaido, Japan. In 2000, while attending Tama University of Arts, D[diː] made her debut with a book titled "Fantastic Silent”. Since then, she has continued to create a cynical yet sweet world through her works, with keen observation and lyrical use of words.

Besides creating exquisite tableaux, she has also been proving herself to be true multi-talented by crossing over the boundaries of genres, including fiction, comics, illustration, fashion, design and, more recently, hosting a weekly radio show on a nationwide network.
