Rabbit and Turtle

This is a collaborated project which started in Tokyo in 2005 by artist Yukari and two publishers Benjamin from Nieves and Kazue from Happa-no-Kofu.

The idea of this book is based on a famous Aesop's Fables story, 'Hare and Tortoise'. Yukari's adopted a free drawing style; moving away from the original story, she used her imagination and created a fascinating and alluring world with lively lines and vivid colours.

Published by the Swiss publishing house, Nieves and the non-profit Japanese web publisher, Happa-no-Kofu.

Second edition, 2007.

Language: English and Japanese.

6 colour offset printed.

Pages: 32.

Size: 16 x 22.5 cm.
