Inspired by the noble ruff from the Middle Ages Europe, Drip ruff is a one of a kind design that will stop wine from dripping from the bottle when it is being poured.
Drip ruff is made of India paper traditionally used in Chinese paintings. It is glued together, precisely cut, and opens up to form an origami style honeycomb structure. The structure provides the elasticity that holds it onto the neck of the wine bottle, and when the wine is being poured, the drip ruff will soak up the liquid as it drips from the side.
By the end of the evening, you may be surprised by the unintentional 'art' piece created by the wine stains on the ruff!
